Is Theo a human tutor?
Theo is an AI study coach. Use Math chat to work through problems, or ask follow-up questions about checked English, Reading, and Science answers. Authored lessons and worked examples support all four subjects. AI can make mistakes, so students should check important steps. The plan does not include live sessions with a person.
Does this cover the entire ACT?
Your plan includes Math, English, Reading, and Science pathways with lessons, practice, timed work, and later checks. Reading and Science are growing pathways, not a promise of exhaustive coverage. The optional Writing essay is not included. All practice questions are original, not official ACT questions.
What can I see as a parent?
Students can share a private, seven-day summary link from Progress. It shows practice, available later-check evidence, and next steps across subjects without individual answers or tutor conversations. Students can also opt into weekly email updates when delivery is enabled, after the recipient confirms. Either person can stop future emails. A separate parent login is not included.
Will creating an account charge me $29?
No. Start a seven-day trial without a card. It ends automatically without a charge. Creating a student account does not start a subscription. You authorize the $29 monthly payment only after reviewing the plan in Stripe checkout. It renews monthly until canceled through Plan & billing.
Are tutorial videos or live lessons included?
Theo provides AI explanations and interactive practice. Theo’s test-tip videos are available on our Test tips page. Live human lessons are not included.
Is a higher ACT score guaranteed?
No. Theo is a study tool, and results depend on your student's starting point and practice. We do not promise a particular score increase.
